The City Campus is located in the north of Berlin-Charlottenburg, directly on Saatwinkler Damm, just a few metres from the former Berlin-Tegel Airport. Due to the very good accessibility of City West and also City Ost / the government district, the location is characterised by government-related tenants and companies from the technology sector.
The location will experience an enormous upgrade in the next few years with the development of the former Tegel Airport into a research and industrial park for urban technologies - "Berlin TXL - The Urban Tech Republic". Around 20,000 new, modern jobs for future technologies and science will be created here. Planning has already begun.
Less than a 10-minute drive away, the "Siemensstadt 2.0" quarter is being built. Here, Siemens is investing around €600 million in a new living and working environment on an area of 700,000 m2 and in research areas such as electromobility, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.
